These dates are subject to the results of the Public Inquiry into the Compulsory Purchase Orders starting on 10/11/09 at the White Rock Theatre, Hastings on Tuesdays to Thursdays 1000-1700 and Fridays 1000-1330 for approximately 4 weeks. Everyone is well to attend. Full details can be viewed on the ESCC website.
BATTLE BONFIRE. Battle Bonfire Celebrations will take place on Saturday 7 November.

SEDLESCOMBE PARISH COUNCIL MAIN MEETING. The next meeting of the Council is to be held on Tuesday 10 November in Committee Room 2 of the Village Hall starting at 7pm. As previously announced, young people between 16 and 25 will be particularly welcome to attend this meeting.

SEDLESCOMBE PARISH COUNCIL BUDGET SETTING. One of the two Finance meetings to discuss next year's Council Tax rate for Sedlescombe has taken place. As this was advertised to each household through the last Bulletin and no members of the public attended, it will have to be assumed that there are no objections to what the Council is proposing for the coming year. There is one more opportunity to speak on the subject and hear what is said by the Finance Committee at its meeting on Tuesday 15 December at 7pm in Committee Room 2 of the Hall.

PESTALOZZI PUBLIC MEETING. Pestalozzi International Village Trust is holding a public meeting in Sedlescombe Village Hall on Friday 13 November at 7pm to which everyone is invited.

It is expected that there will be information about the Charity, including speeches from the students themselves, and details of fund-raising events that are being planned for the coming year in order to support the continuation of the Charity in Sedlescombe. According to the Sedlescombe News these will include The Blackhorse Folk Festival, Hope Family Weekender, Jewish Religious Festival, the Speed Hill Climb and Scouts and Guides Camping. Some of these events will be audible in other parts of the Village.

This is a very good opportunity for you to hear about Pestalozzi's plans and to ask any questions that you may have.
