The Sedlescombe Parish Plan is now five years old and the Parish Council has been considering whether it should begin a new comprehensive consultation exercise.

Another option would be for a group separate from the Parish Council to draw up its own plan following consultation with the public. Parish Plans, or Local Action Plans, as they are now called, do not have to be done by a Parish Council.

It is important that grant funders are convinced that when we are seeking funds for projects, it is what the local residents really want.

Please help the Parish Council decision by either completing the short questionnaire that will be delivered to every house in the parish in the next few weeks and then returning it to the box in the Post office or by e-mailing the answers to the Clerk on
