PLANNING APPEALS

APPEAL NO. 2264 - RR/2014/147/P Brede Lane - Land at Sedlescombe

UNDER THE TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990 AN APPEAL HAS BEEN LODGED BY MJH EXECUTIVE HOMES IN RESPECT OF THE REFUSAL OF ROTHER DISTRICT COUNCIL TO GRANT PLANNING PERMISSION FOR THE ERECTION OF 18 RESIDENTIAL DWELLINGS WITH ASSOCIATED ACCESS, CAR PARKING AND OPEN SPACE TOGETHER WITH THE TRANSFER AND CHANGE OF USE OF LAND TO BE USED AS SCHOOL PLAYING FIELDS ON LAND AT BREDE LANE, SEDLESCOMBE, EAST SUSSEX.

The Public Inquiry to determine the above appeal will take place on
4th November 2014 at the Town Hall, Bexhill on Sea, East Sussex TN39 3JX starting at 10:00.

Sedlescombe Parish Council will be taking an active part in the public inquiry to object to the above appeal.

Parish Council has been granted “Rule 6” status by the Planning Inspectorate (please see HERE) and will be able to take an active part in the public inquiry. PC will now be considered as a main party, i.e. treated with equal status to Rother DC, be entitled to appear at the inquiry and cross-examine other parties.
